Elizabeth Kipp – Release the grip of chronic pain and addiction

Meet Elizabeth Kipp

I was raised in Delaware and moved to Lawrence, KS in the 1992.

What business are you currently running?

I’m a Chronic Pain Management Expert, Addiction Recovery Coach, Ancestral Clearing Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and best-selling author and I’m in long term recovery from chronic pain and concurrent addiction.

I specialise in helping people heal from chronic pain and offer workshops and individual sessions around the world to help them release the grip of chronic pain and addiction. I’ve walked this journey and want to facilitate freedom for all who suffer from chronic pain with natural alternatives to pain medication, so they can stop taking harmful pain drugs.

Pain is pain. Suffering from pain (back pain, hip pain, shoulder pain, pain from an injury, knee pain, etc.) all can be healed and stop the vicious addiction to pain medication.

I’m also the author of “The Way Through Chronic Pain: Tools to Reclaim Your Healing Power.”

Assuming you are now in “Your Next Chapter”, what led you here? Was there an internal discontent or an external issue you felt strongly about that prompted a change in direction?

I experienced 59 years of chronic pain and 32 years of addiction to prescribed opiates and benzodiazepines. The only answer the doctors had for my chronic pain was medication. My pain was not addressed by this strategy. In fact, it was exacerbated by it. I became hypervigilant, suffered from hyperalgesia and frequent debilitating panic attacks. My health suffered greatly because this approach led to:

a) my pain getting worse and worse;
b) a compromised ability to breathe and digest food, so I was not able to take in nourishment; I was dying inch by inch, cell by cell.
c) depression and hopelessness.

I finally found a doctor who understood the nature of the underlying causes of chronic pain. He taught me how to find my way through, without medication. I healed and live a thriving life. Others can, too.

I found peace and vitality. I never want anyone to go through what I experienced ever again. I am here to share the tools I learned to heal from chronic pain – without pharmaceuticals. I would like to help others experience this transformation in their life – and my methods are based on my direct experience.

What did you find most challenging about getting started/moving in a new direction?

Trusting myself and trusting that I will be guided to finding the help I need.

What have you found most fulfilling?

The most fulfilling thing for me is when I see a client transform from anxious and tense, to calm and peaceful.

Have you experienced self-doubt? What causes it to flare and how do you work through it when it hits?

Yes, self-doubt can be an issue. My self-doubt arises when I am caught in fear and I forget who I truly am.

It happens when I forget my connection to Oneness. Self-doubt is the result of losing my power through disconnecting from Source.

How do you feel you have grown since you started?

I have expanded my capacity for compassion, patience, and trusting the process.

Have you developed any particular habits/strategies that facilitate getting things done in your business?

Early morning sadhana or spiritual practice — sets me up for the day.

Why do you feel women in the 40’s and beyond make fabulous entrepreneurs?

Experience and growth in compassion over time.

What would you say to other women who are standing on the edge of their own Next Chapter, not sure if they can take the leap?

Start before you’re ready.

What’s next for you? Share your vision with us!
