The seed for this wholehearted conversation was planted in a chat between my home and my sons school, as I was charting away to my very dear friend, Carolyn Tate. Carolyn is in Melbourne and we get together as often as we can, and invariably spend long nights in wide ranging discussions about life, the universe and everything, as you do with good friends and kindred spirits.
On this particular day, our chat ranged across so many topics, resting for some time on the change we felt was happening in our world – the need for a more feminine approach to business in terms of less pushing and hustling, following “sure thing 10 step blueprints” and striving for the all mighty dollar at all costs.
We acknowledged the need for creating financial abundance, but agreed that what that looks like is different and needs to align with our values and purpose and that we did not want to exchange the corporate wheel for an entrepreneurial paradigm that was more of the same…
It was perhaps, a classic “D&M’ conversation, but we also realised that parts of it had parallels with conversations we’d been having with others friends and colleagues. And that’s when we decided that wed “take the talk public”, hold a call, and invite another wholehearted woman who also speaks boldly about feminine energy in business, the luminous Samantha Nolan-Smith.
And this call was the result – “It’s Our Time”.
We hope that it connects with your heart and perhaps inspires some new ideas, a desire for change, recognition of the power you have and the knowledge that you are not alone.
